The Dartmouth Farm & Pastures Family

The Farming Momma

The Farming Momma was originally raised in a small fishing village in Dartmouth, Devonshire in England. Growing up next to The Moors - an area where English Farmers were allowed to free range their herds - solidified her love for animals and farming practices. After moving to the States, she spent a lot of time on her grandfather's 10 acre farm.

The Farming Momma used to work in Musical Theater, then after having Little Man Farmer, switched to Retail Management. After 11 years in Retail Management, she decided to change careers and began Audio Transcription as an at-home, independent consultant. Now she also runs the farm, blogs, and writes for several websites, including Ruralhousewives.com.

 Daddy Farmer

Daddy Farmer was born in Africa to German parents and raised in Cologne, Germany. He moved to the States in 2007 where he earned two Bachelor's degrees before going into Inspection work. As a child, his family ran a no-kill dog shelter and he looked after his family's estate ducks. He's great with all of the animals, but has a soft spot for Donkey.

Little Man Farmer

Little Man Farmer is a trip! He's 9 years old, obsessed with Doctor Who (he even has a Tardis bedroom door!), and spends a lot of his time outside with the animals. He loves reading, jumping on his trampoline, building with his Legos, and getting dirty. His best friend in the world is Emily Shakespeare, his show chicken. He has plans of being an engineer or a theoretical physicist when he grows up.

Little Missy Farmer

Little Missy Farmer is your typical 6 year old girl- horse obsessed! She spends a lot of time grooming her pony, Lil' Bit, or with Gristle, the quarter horse. She is always extremely helpful with the bunnies and is in charge of socializing the baby animals. She can clean a coop like it's nobody's business, too! She plans on being a veterinarian when she finishes school.

Baby Farmer

Baby Farmer is an adorable, energetic 8 month old little girl. She is already obsessed with animals and enjoys spending time outside in the barn more than anything in the world. When she can't be out with the animals, she's inside curled up with Nana Dog watching Baby Einstein's Old McDonald movie.
